Liz Truss considered cutting cancer care on the NHS in a desperate bid to find savings, according to a new book about her time in office. Kwasi Kwarteng says he 'doesn't believe that'.

Smoking could be banned in pub gardens, outdoor restaurants and outside stadiums, according to reports. The measures are currently being considered by ministers according to The Sun newspaper.
