Discover the Badia Fiesolana, seat of the European University Institute, with recent EUI graduate, Kasia Nalewajko. The Badia is home to the Department of Political and Social Sciences, as well as the EUI Library, the Office of the President, and the Central Administration.

The EUI Department of Political and Social Sciences is one of Europe’s leading centres for research and doctoral studies in comparative politics, political behaviour and political sociology, demography and sociology of inequality, micro- and computational sociology, and international relations and security.

The SPS Department offers a variety of substantive and methodological courses and workshops as part of our structured doctoral programme and provides intensive supervision and support for fieldwork, experiments, and other forms of data collection.
