because if I don't heal
it's possible that I won't be ready for this journey
I need healing
because I have to create something, start something new for this to be over
nothing makes sense sometimes, some others it does
it's like the path is clear but my legs won't move towards new
the roots are too deep to cut them
the burden is so attached to my back
Exaggerations are my specialty, then I turn away and leave it all behind
like many times before
If I do what's right then my next move will be harder to perform
and that's what holds me back
that it will be hard
shouldn't be difficult, because I was supposed to be walking straight forward
not backwards
... right?
the pain won't end, and then there's the light for a few moments
playing games with my mind and my heart
come on, cut me some slack, I tried it all and then it didn't matter
because it was always about what it was required from me
