Another piece from the same storm-damaged yew tree — and once again, what looked like nothing more than firewood turned into something truly special on the lathe. This block was cracked, twisted, and rough on the outside, but the grain hidden within tells a completely different story. Join me as I take this ugly lump of wood and try to bring out the beauty hiding inside.
