Halo 2600 Atari Homebrew Review

Описание к видео Halo 2600 Atari Homebrew Review

Homebrew month might have been in May, but that doesn't mean we aren't going to review another one for the rest of the year. Today we are looking at the Atari 2600 homebrew Halo 2600 which was programmed by Ed Fries himself. For those who don't know, Ed Fries was the former Vice President of XBox for Microsoft. He also is apparently an accomplished programmer since the Atari 400/800 days. But does that mean this game is going to be good? Lets find out!

We score all the games we review on a 5 point scale. Here's what each score means:
5 out of 5 is PERFECT! These are must own games!
4 out of 5 is Great! Almost everybody should enjoy this game.
3 out of 5 is Good. Most people should like this game, but some won't.
2 out of 5 is Bad. A few people will like it, but you should be safe skipping this game...
1 out of 5 is GARBAGE! You must avoid these games for your own health!

We also occasionally look at products, controllers and more but we rate those on a scale of recommended, undecided, and not recommended. Hopefully this is self explanatory...

The Atari Network has 3 goals (besides entertainment) that I hope embodies everything the channel does:
1. Bring awareness to Atari, especially the often ignored Tramiel and 7800 era
2. Make sure the hardworking people both new and old (from the old guard at Atari corp to the new developers keeping Atari alive) get the recognition that they deserve for their hard work
3. Preserve the history of Atari in the video game hobby so that it survives long after us
