Super Takumar 20mm + Sigma fp

Here is an evening walk in The Gathering Place shooting with the 60 year old Super Takumar 20mm f/4.5 on my Sigma fp.

The Takumar from this era that overshadows all others is the legendary 50mm f/1.4 however the wider and slower lenses of this time are exceptional as well.

Lensclassics once told me of all the slr lenses of this time, the Takumars are truly unrivaled in their build quality. "To re-house a Takumar would be a sin."
This is one of those lenses - the focus and aperture looking and functioning just as it did 60 years ago. Absolutely remarkable.

I will say this lens is small in size and difficult to focus without getting a finger in frame. However, it produces astonishing flares and colors. A wonderful pairing with my Sigma fp. Thanks for watching.
