The posters, featuring images of AIADMK leaders like MGR, J. Jayalalithaa, and Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS), have appeared across Madurai, mocking the administration's performance on sanitation and cleanliness. The move is being seen as an attempt by the opposition to hold the government accountable for the city's poor performance in the national cleanliness survey.
