On 4th Feb 2011 at approximately 3.00pm in Buangkok Field, Hawk attached over 4,100 centimetres worth of kite tail to his ITW Korean Fighter Kite.

The kite, whose wingspan measures 38 centimetres, lofted the entire tail well above the ground.

Tailspin, acting in his capacity as Contest Judge determined Hawk's kite to tail ratio to be 1:108 which represents a 4% improvement on Gabriel's 1:104 record set on 2nd Feb 2011.

The above submission was officially accepted for the Layangman Forum's Longest Kite Tail Contest (hosted at www.Layangman.com) ending 7th Feb 2011.
