Technique Tips in Walk

Описание к видео Technique Tips in Walk

Basic Dressage Training Tips by Jaralyn Gibson.

Horses oscillate their necks in walk and canter. For the most harmonious contact riders must learn to follow the motion of the horses mouth with their hands, when each foreleg reaches forward, the hands must press forward just a few inches or sometimes less if the horse is in collection and self carriage.

Even when adjusting rein length, the rider must maintain the rhythm of the oscillation and should use the technique of both reins in one hand, slide the other forward on the reins, and repeat on the other side.
