iOS 10.3.2 Released + 10.3.3 Beta 1

What is going on guys Apple Fox here back again with another video. And as the title of this video says iOS 10.3.2 has been released for everyone to download and install right now. Also the first beta of 10.3.3 has been published. So in this video, just like everytime, I will be talking about the update with everything it brings, all you need to know about it and of course if you should download and install this update on your iOS Device. Not sure if you guys also install the beta updates but I’ll talk a little bit about that as well. So let's get into it.

The 10.3.2 is of course available over the air and if you go in the settings and software update, you will see it there. I am updating from 10.3.1 so the update is only about 176 mb which also indicates how many changes will actually be there.


Taking a look at the description, there isn't much written about it, it resembles to beta description saying it contains bug fixes and improvements but on the other hand there are no new features or visual changes, so there isn’t anything they could put into the description.

Because it’s such a tiny update, it downloads pretty quickly, of course depending on your wifi speed but it shouldn’t take long. The installation process is fairly quick as well.

After the update is completed, you unlock the phone but as I already said, don’t try to find any new features or functions or any changes in general, because you won’t find anything. Everything is just like it was before, so you may be wondering, what this update is actually about.

The whole point of this and other small iOS updates is the security improvement. Like fixing bugs, glitches and even some minor security holes are fixed in this type of update. Most of the time, these glitches or security holes are not something you can see often but it happens sometimes that something doesn’t work the way it should.

On Apple’s website you can find all of the things that have been patched, Apple never reveals or publishes any of the security issues until they patch them and release an update for everyone to download. This is how it basically works. It’s because they don’t want anyone to misuse this information.

Probably the biggest improvement has happened in the iBooks app. As it is stated on Apple’s website, some maliciously crafted books could very easily open some websites in safari which may be very dangerous in case someone intends to do som bad things with it. And also in the ibooks app, the application itself may be able to execute arbitrary code with root priviliges. But fortunately it’s all fixed now.

Before the update the capacity was at 28.37gb and the available was at 3.22gb. After updating to 10.3.2 the capacity got down a little bit as you can see but the available storage has changed in a good way. So I gained about 300 mb which is always great.

When using the iPhone, I didn’t really notice any speed improvements, maybe some tiny improvement but it may be because I just downloaded it and it just appears to me to be faster but in reality it isn’t. I don’t know but the performance definitely didn’t get worse.

Now let’s take a look at the beta of 10.3.3, the first beta actually that has dropped just after releasing of 10.3.2 for the public. Now what it means is basically that this update may be the last ever update of iOS 10. The iOS 11 should arrive very soon, not sure when exactly, but it’s definitely coming. So that’s why this iOS 10.3.3 is probably the last one from iOS 10. It doesn’t come with any new things at all, it just contains some bug fixes.
