The Three Passes Trek in Nepal-Episode 3-Tengboche Monastery

The Three Passes Trek is in Nepal absolutely stunning. The Himalayan vistas are breathtaking, the people are incredibly friendly and the Dal Bhat is tasty. This trek takes you over 3 high passes; Renjo La, Cho La and Kongma La, all over 5,000 meters (16k feet). A little swing to Everest Base Camp is frosting on the cake. I did this trek in mid-November to early December, there's no snowstorms at this time, but it's a little chilly at night. The walk from Namche to Tengboche is stunning. A little up, a little down, and it all culminates at a beautiful Buddhist monastery on top of a mountain. The scenery in this episode will knock your socks off! I also eat chocolate cake at a hilltop bakery, it was amazing.
