UK Safety Systems: DSD, Vigilance, AWS, DRA (TSW | UK safety systems tutorial)

Описание к видео UK Safety Systems: DSD, Vigilance, AWS, DRA (TSW | UK safety systems tutorial)

Let's have a look at a couple of safety systems that are installed on a lot of the more modern British locomotives and multiple-units and that can require the driver to act: The Driver's Safety System (DSD), the Driver's Vigilance Equipment (Vigilance), the AWS (Automatic Warning System) and the DRA (Driver's Reminder Appliance). Let's discuss what those systems are for, how they are operated and what happens if you ignore them. At the same time we examine the BR Class 465/9 "Networker" EMU, including its regenerative braking and its cruise control system.

Two full services from Faversham to Rochester (02:40) and from Dartford to Gravesend (52:18) on the BR Class 465/9 "Networker" electric multiple-unit in Dovetail Games' Southeastern Highspeed Extended DLC, with a short tutorial about the DSD, Vigilance, AWS and DRA safety systems (19:20).

A video covering the TPWS system can be found here:    • UK Safety Systems: TPWS (Train Sim Wo...
