Flair SE5-A RC Restoration - Part 1

This summers restoration project, a very sorry looking Flair SE5-A! Yet another second hand purchase that's has been sitting in the rafters for almost 5 years now! Finally its time has come. In this first part I talking you through the history of the model and look at the (rather substantial amount it would turn out) work required to get the airframe ready for flight again. I'm going to be honest, this thing was a mess, but as you'll see, she end up working out rather, even if not as originally intended....

I hope (fingers crossed) Part 2 of this video will come in the next 4-6weeks, and with that the model will be covered and flown for the first time in I suspect, at least 15 years. So keep an eye out for PT2 at some point in the future and hope you enjoy watching the transformation this airframe has gone through thus far this summer.
