Just A Day In Our 'Crazy' Lives 🪴🐟🐢

It can be difficult to explain how a normal day goes for Ken and me so we thought we would share just a few things we did on Saturday.

🪴 Cleaned the Crazy Plants Nursery, propped plants, new stock
🐟 Went fishing for fresh food for the turtles, nature watched, and relaxed (some of us who did not have to run)
🐢 Lots and lots of baby tortoises hatched from the ground!

The plant nursery is important and has become the critters' hub for adoptions coming in and going out.

Fishing is important because the fresh food feeds the turtles and other exotics.

Baby Red-footed Tortoises are so cute! As a non-profit, they also secure our future with revenue income that helps us grow and fits into our mission and mottos.

We constructed a small greenhouse to grow food for the animal facility, and it was not long before we realized plants were a great way to provide revenue that could help us grow and care for wayward or injured animals.
