Описание к видео Visiting a Watchmaking School in Le Locle Switzerland KHWCC Part 1

To become a great watchmaker, one must learn from a great teacher, and I had the opportunity to visit a great watchmaking school in le locle, Switzerland.
I love meeting people and especially when we are going to talk about watchmaking and watches. As I was visiting Switzerland a couple months ago, I reached out to Henrik Korpela who is the founder and instructor of Korpela and Hofs Watch Competence Centre, which is an independent Swiss watchmaking school that teachers many students from all over the world.
Early on we saw Girard Perregaux (GP) Enicar I had no idea they were still around.

I couldn’t believe it, greubel forsey, I had seen this building in youtube videos, and I was standing right there. I came across their sign after that, I could see other watch brands jaquet droz. Turns out this road is called allee du tourbillon.

We also saw Bergeon warehouse, tumbled across swiss machine distributors, luthy mac, greub machines. It was pretty amazing even before we got to Henriks Watchmaking School.

We eventually got there and Henrik began with giving us a tour, so we start in the machine room with the Hauser jig Borer, Aceiera F1 Mill, Schaublin 102, pantograph and a beast of a tool grinding machine. I hope you enjoy part 1.

If you want to become a watcher as a profession, and looking for the best watchmaking school. KHWCC in Le Locle Switzerland is an amazing place.

This Part 1 of my Swiss Watchmaking school tour, Part 2 is coming out shortly. Stay Tuned.
