2020 Aprilia STORM 125 BS6 Detailed Ride Review | Mileage | Price | Top Speed

The Aprilia Storm 125 BS6 was shown at the Auto Expo 2020. The scooter was launched earlier in 2019 at Rs 85,431 (ex-showroom Delhi). It comes at a premium of Rs 18,697 over its BS4 product.

Even though the Storm 125 is based on the SR 125, there are some minor differences between both scooters. For starters, the Storm 125 gets two new paint options -- matte red and matte yellow -- and features sporty decals. Also, to keep costs in check, the Storm 125 gets a single halogen headlamp as opposed to the dual-halogen unit seen on the SR 125. The major change, however, is the tyre setup. The Storm 125 features 12-inch dual-purpose tyres measuring 120/80-section at the front and 130/80-section at the rear. The SR 125, on the other hand, gets 14-inch wheels at both ends. The suspension setup is the same as its sibling: telescopic fork up front and a monoshock unit at the rear. The Storm 125 misses out on the front disc brake which is offered on the SR 125 and makes do with drum units at both ends. In terms of rivals, it goes up against the TVS NTorq 125, Honda Grazia and the Hero Maestro Edge 125.
