Sunrise at Sigiriya Rock / Our first Safari / Sri Lanka

We wake up at 4.45 to make sure we was at sigiriya rock for sunrise. Driving out tuktuk in the dark we head 5 minutes from our resort and headed to sigiriya rock or also know as lion’s rock. Once our tickets were bought we had a guide tell us the history and made it too the top for sunrise. With amazing views it was a great experience.

We then headed back to our resort and had breakfast about 8.00 am.

We had then planned for an afternoon Safari with a guide and driver we used a local guide if you want to check him out his company is called Sudath Tours Sri Lanka. He was most helpful and we can really recommend him. The safari was great and not as busy as the main safari national parks. We managed to see elephants and lots wildlife.

We did a room tour before we left the resort, and then we ended the vlog ready for our next days adventure where we head to Kandy.
