What To Wear Hiking & Backpacking in the COLD

Here in Idaho, the Fall season is spectacular. Those gold and orange hues pop from September through November and with school staring and temperatures dropping, the amount of people on the trail drops significantly this time of year. But the Fall season comes with some extra challenges, mainly weather. In Idaho temperatures drop to below freezing at night, with highs during the day soaring into the 80's. So how do you prepare for such a fluctuation? In this video I'll show you the layers you need, as well as some tips on how to pack all that extra clothing into your bag.
