This is the 2nd time this bluebird nesting box has been refurbished. The box is somewhere between 10 to 12 years old. It's made out of cedar, and years ago it had a pretty blue roof.

I changed the bluebird nesting box to the redwood color to match the brick on our own house. Although cosmetically the refurbished box turned out beautiful, the materials used will probably protect it for at least 3 more years.
