Viveka (विवेक): Discrimination, the ability to discern between the real and the unreal, like a lotus blooming in the still waters of the mind.
Vairagya (वैराग्य): Detachment, the art of letting go, akin to a bird releasing its grip on a branch to soar freely across the open sky.
Mumukshutva (मुमुक्षुत्व): The intense longing for liberation, burning like a sacred fire within the seeker’s heart.
Shat Sampatti (षट् सम्पत्ति): The sixfold wealth of inner virtues:
Shama (शम): Tranquility, the calmness of a forest at dawn.
Dama (दम): Self-control, like reins guiding a spirited horse.
Uparati (उपरति): Dispassion, the moon withdrawing from the sun’s embrace during an eclipse.
Titiksha (तितिक्षा): Endurance, the unwavering patience of a banyan tree standing through seasons.
Shraddha (श्रद्धा): Faith, the lotus unfolding its petals toward the rising sun.
Samadhi (समाधि): Absorption, the merging of the river into the boundless ocean of consciousness.
