Introduction: “DUBTRAP” - as a name itself is a mix of trap and EDM music. But it’s more than just a music genre that been inspired by artists all over the world. It’s all about taking experience from previous generations and creating a unique mixture of art and bringing all that stuff to the new level. Our goals: to be as creative as possible, never scare to experiment even if it’s weird for the masses, to create a powerful authentic movement that can inspire people to be themselves and never give up. Also we always down for collabs cause that’s the only way to rethink some ideas and grow together with people that we f*** with 😈

Meaning: Generally, DUB consists of remixes of existing recordings created by significantly manipulating the original, usually through the removal of vocal parts, emphasis of the rhythm section. DUB is much older than dubstep and the history of this genre is crazy. This genre inspired a lot of famous EDM artists, a lot of rap artists as well and many many more genres. Originally DUB was a new wave of reggae music and real geeks know that some reggae artists call their genre “music of the oppressed”. They been trying to rethink their reality, find some positive moments and just live. The craziest thing is reggae music inspired Sex Pistols too. Looks like punk is absolutely opposite genre but reggae got big influence on it and you still can find the same rhythm principles in this type of music.

We NOT the first guys who started mixing dubstep and trap, but we still can’t see real authentic unique genre that can inspire people to listen to this type of music, bring this genre to specific visual aesthetic and we don’t see any artists on a stage doing this thing (only couple underground artists/bands).

Looks like mixture of Trap and EDM is getting more and more popular, but we looking for real hard shit. We not a vampires, we f****** demons😈

Btw the demon logo is not about satanism or destroying something. We don’t believe in any god or otherworldly forces. All we trying to represent is powerful genre that can change people’s mind. This character is defiant and it encourages people to think “wtf is this, why this dude got DUBTRAP inscription instead of his eyes” lmfaoo. It definitely can bring some visual resonance to any person and real ones will try to understand our movement. Reaction is the main think in any type of art so we want some real reactions even if they not positive. We don’t care, we just do it😈

The conclusion is: we got very interesting foundation that can help us to rethink a lot of aspects of modern life and bring it to the new level.
