How it's made: MARTISOR - Romanian Tradition for 1st March (Spring is coming) [DIY] [Easy and Cute]

Hello guys!
We are back with a new video! This DIY will show you how to make a cute spring accessory or how we call it in Romania Mărțișor, for 1st March.

Mărțișor is an old tradition celebrated all over Romania every year, on March 1st. The name Mărțișor is a diminutive of March (Martie in Romanian). It is believed that the person who wears the red and white string would enjoy a prosperous and healthy year.

This project is in collaboration with the NGO we are part of called LSRS South Korea. Below you have their contact information and also their own video of how to make this same accessory, but in Romanian language.

❤🤍 March 1 - Mărțișorim Coreea! 🤍❤

LSRS Coreea de Sud begins spring with an event dedicated to all of you, in collaboration with the Embassy of Romania in Korea!

The event is not only for Romanians, but for all people who love Romanian culture and traditions ☺

To take part into the event, there are just 2 simple steps you'll have to follow:
1. Take a picture/selfie with a mărțișor (the traditional white and red thread) and something specifically Korean (kimchi, soju, monuments, money, etc.)
2. Post the picture until March 1, 4PM KST, on SNS (Facebook or Instagram), attaching the hashtags: #mărțișorimcoreea #lsrscoreeadesud #ambasadaromânieiîncoreea

On March 1, 8PM, LSRS Coreea de Sud and the Embassy of Romania in South Korea will publish a collage with all the participating pictures found under the mentioned hashtags^^
