It’s been years since I first saw Enemy, and I still can’t shake it off.
It’s one of those movies that doesn’t explain itself, doesn’t hold your hand — it just leaves a mark.

I watched it again recently after my old roommate messaged me out of nowhere saying,
“Bro, I just saw Enemy. I’m dead.”
And that’s when it hit me how quietly powerful this film really is.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve and starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Enemy is weird, confusing, beautiful — and deeply human.
It’s about identity, guilt, and the war inside your own head.
Back when I first watched it, I didn’t get it. But now, years later, I think I finally do.
And that realization kind of broke me.

This isn’t a film review — it’s just me trying to make sense of what Enemy meant to me,
and why some stories only start making sense after you’ve lived a little more.
