Today's Inspiration by Rob Hipp: Tuesday, July 26, 2022 - Keep Your Cool

Many of us speak before we think in the heat of the moment. When we lose our cool, words come out we don’t necessarily mean. We do things to others we immediately wish we could take back. The enemy wants to derail you. He wants to bring disaster. When things are sour, he thrives. Don’t give him that authority. The next time someone cuts you off on the road, let it go. When that parking space is quickly taken in front of you, find the next one. It’s out of your control when there’s traffic and you are late to an appointment. What you can control is how you handle these situations.

Here’s the key. Control your temper and learn to process the moment that’s heated. You’ll earn respect when you don’t let things get to you. Sometimes, it’s better to just turn and walk away. Pause and take a deep breath. Clear your mind. Don’t add fuel to the fire.

Create a better atmosphere by being positive and thanking God in all things. Realize the goodness around you. Don’t lose your temper! Keep your cool!
