Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer one super clean 1968 Chevrolet C10 step side. Step side Chevys are some of the most collectible trucks out there. This one has been beautifully restored and will impress even the most seasoned car guy. The base coat clear coat paint in red is new as of 2013. The body is laser straight and all steel of course. This one has a beautiful wood bed with chrome strips in between. It has an amazing clear coat over it which give it a high gloss show ready finish. Under the hood is a strong running crate 350 CID V8 which mates up well with the TH350 automatic transmission and highway gears. Under the hood you'll find just as nice of a paint job on the firewall. The 350 is tastefully dressed with some understated valve covers and air cleaner. The crate engine breaths through a nice set of headers and true dual exhaust which makes a great sound. It's easy to see this one has all the goodies: power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning. Hop in the cab and you'll find a recently reupholstered black vinyl bench seat. The AC controls have been nicely fit into the dash as well as a stereo. It sure is nice to have AC on your way to a car show. This truck could very easily be entered into a show and quite possibly bring home a trophy. The underside is equally as high quality as the top so you wouldn't be embarrassed to park on a mirror.
