On Friday 6th August 2021 at 1PM, hundreds of transgender, non-binary and gender diverse people and their allies gathered opposite 10 Downing Street in London to protest Boris Johnson and the Conservative government’s continued failure to ensure that marginalised people can safely with dignity and respect.

The speaker in this video is Fox Fisher.

This event was organised by Felix Fern and Laura Kate Dale, with the assistance of wonderful co-organisers and input from other trans groups.

The fight doesn’t end here, we have to keep making noise. Write to your MP to let them know how concerned you are about this government’s increasing hostility towards marginalised groups, support local LGBTQ+ groups and charities.
Our protest demands are available online, you can send them to your MP or use them as a guideline to share your own concerns. Until things change, there will be more protests.
