Kerry kicked off the presentation on the second day of the summit by introducing the LiteWallet team and discussing several key projects. As a data scientist for the Litecoin Foundation, I’m proud to be part of a dedicated team that drives these efforts forward. While I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to various initiatives, it’s the collective work of the team that truly brings these projects to life.

Some of the main points Kerry covered included:

Analytics in Ukraine: Data analysis was conducted to track Light Wallet usage during the Ukraine invasion, leveraging Looker analytics to compare activity across regions. I had the chance to work on this project, particularly given my background and connection to the region.

MWEB Research: Ongoing regression analysis of MimbleWimble Extension Block (MWEB) transactions, focusing on pegged-in/pegged-out data and what we could learn from its privacy features. My involvement in this research is just one part of the broader team’s efforts.

Litecoin Price Forecasting: A Python library was developed to forecast Litecoin prices and provide insights into market trends. While I developed this tool, it’s the feedback from the community and team that continues to improve it.

Newborn Wallet Development: The integration of MWEB into the "Newborn" mobile wallet has been a collaborative process, with early user feedback guiding improvements. I played a role in the technical side, but the development is a testament to the team’s hard work.

Future Roadmap: Kerry also shared the next steps for LiteWallet and MWEB, highlighting the continued enhancements planned and how the community can contribute. Our team is excited to keep pushing these projects forward.
