In June 2016 the Anti-Bullying Alliance held a competition to ask pupils in England to create the official Anti-Bullying Week 2016 film. We had so many amazing entries and the winning entry was this film, Bullied from St Helen's College 14-16 Academy.

We love the words in the poem and would like to thank all those involved. The film is suitable for upper primary and secondary school age pupils.

The poem transcript:

Look and you will see shoving, bumping and boyish banter
Look and you will see shoving, shaming and childish banter
Look again and you will recognise someone’s not allowed to enter
Making fun of me, mocked for the supposed lack of size and speed
Look closer and you will see the familiar, natural need
Look close and you will notice the familiar, natural need
Not to be ditched but to be accepted
Not to be left there emotionally alone
As they cruelly stare, point and jeer making every day a nightmare
Look even harder – still – until you know for sure
What the true fear is here
A sly slap, messy rumours and lies
Which make a monster of me
Look, don’t ignore the fact that this happens in every school ground
Where high spirits can be broken down and low esteem can be found
Look, never ignore the fact that it happens on every school ground
Look into my eyes next time and you will eventually begin to see I am the victim here just hiding in plain sight
Trying to disappear into the bully zone alone until someone truly shows me that they care
