On this episode Amigo Dominic and I are tasting 5 Reposado Tequilas from EL TEQUILENO.

EL TEQUILENO is located in the town of Tequila. Their NOM is 1108. Although they are located in the lowlands, they use highlands Agave in their Tequila. At the beginning of this video I have a quick presentation about my tour of thier distillery. Please note that this video is from 2009. I know they now have a boutique hotel on site and I hope to stay there when the Amigos and I visit.

The 5 Reposados we are trying span almost two decades. The oldest is from 2003, the lower cost Reposado, and the newest is from this year. Two of these are "budget" Reposados and three are the higher cost Gran Reserva Reposados. They are $25 - $35 and $50 - $65 respectively.
