Enchanted Forest – with Jo Rice

Hi everyone, Jo here — thanks so much for popping in.

Today we’re creating a design inspired by the new Lavinia Creative Challenge: Enchanted Forest. Just imagine the endless possibilities with all those wonderful tree, branch, and foliage stamps in the collection.

We’ll begin by using Low Tack Tape to mask off an area for a banner, then stamp the trees with Versafine Clair inks in Pinecone, Portobello, and Sand Dune. Next, we’ll bring the scene to life with a sky and moon, blending Elements Inks in Sahara, Truffle, and Lemon Drop.

To add atmosphere, we’ll use a fan brush to flick water droplets across the background, creating a subtle faux-bleached effect, before finishing with a Lavinia Sentiment Sticker.
