How to enable Google's RCS Messaging on ANY Android device - iMessage for Android

Hi there Pros! Today I'm gonna show you how to enable "iMessage" on Android via Google's Jibe RCS. I will explain in simple words what RCS is, why would you need it and how to install and enable it on ANY android device.

🧐 Steps:
1. Lauch the Play Store and search for "Google Messages".
2. Install Messages by Google.
─── If you don't have the Play Store, follow these steps: ───
I. Go to APKMirror and search for Google Messages.
II. Tap on the most recent (non-beta) version of the app (for example, 4.036 is newer than 8.3.031).
III. Scroll down to see all the available downloads.
IV. Tap on the proper variant, where:
"phone_dynamic" is for all Android devices;
"phone_samsung_dynamic" is for Samsung devices;
"phone.go_dynamic" is for Android Go devices;
V. Tap on DOWNLOAD APK.
VI. Open your file explorer and go to where you downloaded the APK file.
VII. Tap on the APK file and Install.
VIII. Turn on "Allow from this source" and go back.
IX. Tap on Install again.

3. Launch Messages by Google.
4. Set it as your default SMS app and give it the permissions it asks.
5. Go to the app's Settings.
6. Tap on Chat features.
7. Turn on "Enable chat features".
8. When the pop-up appears, tap on Allow.
9. Tap on "Verify your number" and insert your phone number.
10. Wait for the status to change to "Connected". If it's taking too long, just wait. You may try closing and opening the app or restarting the phone.
11. Enjoy RCS and DON'T FORGET to share Google Messages with your friends. Both sides must have RCS enabled for it to work.
Note: To check if RCS is on for someone else, the chat box should say "Chat message" written on it. If it's off, then it says "Text message".
