Can't believe that I'm actually uploading a video about this. 2 years ago, I would have NEVER thought that I would ever beat this level, but that dream actually became a reality. Since I'm moving into college soon, I decided that I wanted to beat a new hardest demon I'm incredibly proud of before leaving, and I'm so happy to say that this is the level I did. This was an absolute grind to finish these past few weeks (came back to this right after beating Edge of the Blade) and there were so many times I felt like giving up. There are a lot of people I would like to dedicate this completion to, so I'll write those below.
Alright, so what do I think about this level? Well, to start, out of all the hardest demons I've beaten, this is the level I'm the most proud of calling my hardest. I've beaten a lot of hardests in my time playing this game, but this one means so much more to me than the others. I spent 3 weeks of grinding to beat this level, which is at least a week longer than the time other hardest demons took me. About the level itself, it easily sits in my top 10 favorite extremes I've beaten (i should make a video about that). Everything about this level is amazing, from the good song to the slightly aged but really cool deco to the super fast, satisfying, and awesome gameplay. Sure, the balancing is a bit off with the predrop being harder than everything else, and there are quite a few chokepoints, but that doesn't stop me from really loving this level. Playing drop to 100 is possibly the most fun I've had playing a list demon, especially when I get there from 0. I even did 20-100 five times before beating it because it was so fun (also i wanted to be consistent with it lol). Talking briefly about the chokepoints, there were a few that I want to point out since they were pretty brutal from 0, like the 25 straight fly, the 34 robot, the 40 straight fly, the 51 orb, the 55 green orbs, the 60 ball, the 70 wave, the 73 ball, and the entirety of 90-100 (83 ship was also hard, but i never died there from 0). Despite these chokepoints though, I'm SO glad I beat this as a hardest, and I would love to see more people try this out since it's an amazing level. Also I'm looking forward to seeing what Anathema is like now lol
