➡️ Although the vaccination programme is gaining its momentum worldwide, Covid testing and contact tracing have remained the most effective tools to contain the spread of coronavirus.

In order to avoid further spread of the virus whoever came into contact of a covid positive person should go in isolation and proceed for a RT-PCR test. If someone is tested positive for the virus, he/she will have to remain in isolation between 10 to 15 days until recovery.

Ventilate all the rooms of the house everyday as the virus is more contagious in an enclosed place.
Clothes should be washed separately at least at 60º celsius.
Body temperature has to be monitored twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. Temperature above 38º celsius or 100° fahrenheit is considered fever.
Paracetamol is recommended, not ibuprofen.
Oxygen saturation must be measured, that means the percentage of oxygen in the blood. It is measured with a pulse oximeter. SpO2 levels should be between 95 to 100%. In case of difficulty in breathing, call medical services immediately to get proper advice.
In the meantime, one has to keep the body in a prone position to facilitate the flow of oxygen.
It is very important not to panic.
We must not overwhelm hospitals.
