Nation Update: There’s a party in The Gap

St Lawrence Gap, the entertainment capital of Barbados, is alive with activity again as the island continues to recover from two years of restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
What was once a lively area slowly went silent, and has now come full circle.
Thousands of British and some Caribbean visitors are in Barbados for the second cricket Test match between West Indies and England at Kensington Oval. Others are just on holiday.
On Thursday night, the Nation team of Nick Maitland and Reco Moore visited The Gap where they spoke with restaurant operators and visitors.
