Thursday Boot Co. Explorer Black Leather Unboxing & On Feet

Hi all! In this video I am reviewing my first non-sneaker piece of footwear, the Explorer combat boot in the black leather colorway by Thursday Boots!

The Explorer is Thursday Boots Co.'s rendition of the American combat boot, and in my opinion it does a great job of combining the military-style aesthetic of a jungle or combat boot with the comfort and real-life utility of work boots. I'm by no means an expert in boots (this is my first real boot purchase in about 10 years), but I think the Explorer provides a high amount of value based on what you get with these boots: really soft leather, a comfy AF cork insole, a sewn-on sole (they call it storm welt) that provides pretty good water resistance, and a super grippy Vibram outsole. I have researched for well over 15 hours looking for the perfect affordable combat boot for fall and winter, and I can honestly and humbly say that these provided the best combination of style, comfort, and quality per dollar among all of the boots that I looked at.
