Setting the correct torque for an electrical connection is essential for today's electrical installations. With more electronics and miniaturised circuit protection devices appearing, tightening to the wrong torque setting can lead to expensive and possibly dangerous mistakes.

A torque screwdriver is an essential piece of an electricians kit. In this video, we show you how to use an electrician's insulated torque screwdriver. We'll be using the Wiha TorqueVario-S VDE electric to demonstrate. We also share some top tips to help ensure a long tool life and trouble-free tightening of electrical terminals.
