On October 22, in the Italian city of Perugia, the “Fileremo Bioethics Center” organized a seminar entitled “Care between life and death. Reflections on human existence.”
The course, for professionals in the health field and from universities, underscored the importance of not confusing the sickness with the sick person and invited participants to confront death as one of those moments that is central to life.
The panel was composed of a philosopher, a priest, a doctor, and a lawyer.
Francesco Vitelli, lawyer and organizer of the event, explained to us why the right to life is an indispensable right.
