How Dimpy Chandbhan was sorted by Makhan Singh at Panjab University?How Cheema group responded?Ep 96

In this video Journalist Ritesh Lakhi recalls the incident at Panjab University dating back to 1980s as PUSU the students organisation won the Panjab University Students Council elections amidst all sorts of incidents. However, the clash of groups led by Parminder Singh Singh Cheema of NSUI and Makhan Singh Virk of PUSU was the most remarkable one as the clash also marked the beginning of a series of several other clashes including few fatal ones as Panjab University saw the spiralling of such incidents till 1983. Makhan Singh Virk a stout and rugged students' leader was neutralized by Cheema group after several unsuccessful attempts earlier in 1982. However, the first few of the incidents involving clash of Makhan Singh Virk and how he bashed Prabhjinder Singh Dimpy Chand Bhan of Faridkot was the most remarkable. This was followed by a clash of both groups on the stage of annual Panjab University Festival Jhankar that was being organised by PUSU led council as Cheema led hooligans tried to capture the stage leading to an instant reaction by Makhan Singh Virk and his boys. This incident saw Makhan being hit in his thigh, an incident which in the further course was all set to spiral into series of counter actions by Makhan group against Cheema group led men especially Giani Jaswant Singh who led the charge against Makhan on Jhankar Stage.
