Severe Weather Warning | SAWS issues Yellow Level 2 for Mpumalanga and Limpopo

The South African Weather Service has issued a regional weather forecast for today. A Yellow Level 2 warning is in effect for severe thunderstorms, with heavy downpours and strong winds expected to cause localized flooding in the Lowveld of Mpumalanga and Limpopo, particularly during the early morning. Additionally, extremely high fire danger conditions are anticipated over the eastern and central parts of the Western Cape, while a heatwave with persistently high temperatures is forecast for the northwestern parts of the Eastern Cape.
