Nevada Humanities presents "Lost City Museum: A Hidden Gem on Southern Nevada's Arrowhead Trail," curated by Virginia Lucas, an archaeologist at the Lost City Museum in Overton, Nevada, on display from December 1, 2022 - January 24, 2023, at the Nevada Humanities Program Gallery in Las Vegas.

This exhibit showcases the founding and history of the Lost City Museum and the complex landscape that compelled its existence. Historic photographs will be displayed of the excavation of the Pueblo Grande de Nevada (also known as the Lost City) prehistoric archaeological sites and the building of the Lost City Museum in Overton, Nevada, in 1935 by members of Company 573 Ohio of the Civilian Conservation Corps.
