The Washington State Republican Party Chair, Jim Walsh, is urging a comprehensive review of taxpayer-subsidized child care facilities by the state attorney general and state auditor.

Walsh, who also serves in the state legislature, expressed concerns over potential fraud and misuse of funds after reviewing social media videos and other documentation.

"They need to do a better job of reporting this," Walsh said, emphasizing the role of the attorney general in protecting public interest.

He called for a thorough investigation into how grant money is allocated and spent, suggesting that current tax expenditures should be scrutinized before considering tax increases on working families.
