This is a collection of raw color gootage, taken by a German propaganda cameraman, Gerhard Garms, at the Zehden Bridgehead on the right bank of the Oder, 25km south of the town of Zehden in southern Pommerania, established in February 1945.

It shows units from the 1st Naval Infantry Division, one of six Naval Infantry divisions created by Germany between February and March 1945 in a desperate attempt to replace the massive losses on all fronts.
It also shows captured Soviet artillery guns and MGs, aswell as an heavy AA-gun, most likely from the Heavy AA-Detachment 326.
Finally, the footage shows StuH 42 and StuG III assault guns from the Assault Gun Brigade 210.

The footage was most likely taken between 24th Februaruy and 4th March, as the 1st Naval Infantry Division and the Assault Gun Brigade 210 were reliefed from the Bridgehead on March 5th by an SS Combat Group.
