Schools tend to judge intelligence along a ridiculous line: that of memorization. Memorization is just one form of intelligence, when there are multitudes of others. Because of this, some people grow up believing that they aren't intelligent just because they can't memorize things well. This is horrible! We all have some form of intelligence that comes natural to us — be it creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, pattern recognition, etc. Instead of judging your intelligence based on the areas where you may fall short, focus on the things that you are actually good at — and go all in on them!
