Electric Blue Hap (SCIAENOCHROMIS FRYERI) - SPECIES PROFILE

In today's Species Profile we take a look at the Sciaenochromis Fryeri more commonly known as the Electric Blue Hap.
The Fryeri is an African Cichlid Hap from Lake Malawi. Males can grow to 7-8", females to 5-6". Males have a very deep electric blue color(hence the nickname), while females tend to be grey.
There are multiple types of Fryeri available in the hobby now, including the Iceberg and the White Knight.
In our tank we have 3 different types of Sciaenochromis Fryeri, including a White Knight and Iceberg.
They have a mild temperament which makes them great for your african cichlid display tanks since they are not very agressive.
