PROJECT STEPS
1. Homestead Partners is a company that connects independent home owners with long-term renters. You work in the Customer Service department of Homestead Partners as a data analyst. You are developing an Access database application to help manage and analyze several types of customer service data including property and property manager effectiveness.

Create a new form using the Form Wizard based on all the fields in the Managers table. Use a Columnar layout, use ManagerEntry as the title for the form, open the form to view information, and then close it.
2. Open the PropertyEntry form in Form view and edit the Year Built value for the first record (Property No 1) to 1985 from 1975.
3. With the PropertyEntry form still open in Form view, enter a new record with the field values shown in Table 1.

4. Switch the PropertyEntry form to Design view and align the right edges of the Manager ID, and Year Built labels with the other labels in that column. With the Manager ID, and Year Built labels still selected, right-align the text within each label.
5. With the PropertyEntry form still open in Design view, move the Close command button from the Form Footer section to the right side of the Form Header section. Position the button so that the right edge is at about the 4" mark on the horizontal ruler. Resize the label in the Form Header section so that the right edge is at approximately the 2.5" mark on the horizontal ruler. Underline the text in the Street Address label. (Hint: Underline the Street Address label, not the StreetAddress text box.) Save the PropertyEntry form.
6. Switch the PropertyEntry form to Layout view, select the Property Entry Form label in the Form Header section, and apply bold styling. Select the Close command button and apply the Round Bevel Shape Effect (1st row, 1st column in the Shape Effects, Bevel menu).
7. Switch the PropertyEntry form to Design view and delete the Homestead Partners label in the Form Footer section. Edit the Zip label, using ZIP Code as the new value.
8. Switch the PropertyEntry form to Layout view and add the Baths field to the form and position the new label and text box just below the Year Built label and text box.
9. Switch to Design view for the PropertyEntry form and remove the control layout from the Baths label and text box. Move the Baths label and text box to the right to align with the labels and text boxes above them (the left edge of the label should be located at approximately 0.6" on the horizontal ruler) . Display the PropertyEntry form in Form view as shown in Figure 1 and then save and close the PropertyEntry form.

10. Open the States form in Design view and remove the control layout from the controls in the Form Header section. Select the four controls in the Detail section and apply a stacked layout. Display the States form in Form view as shown in Figure 2 and then save and close the States form.

11. Open the HomeStyles form in Design View, select the TypeID label and Description label in the Detail section, and set the font color to Automatic (Black). (Hint: Be careful to select the labels and not the text boxes.) Select all four controls in the Detail section and apply a stacked layout to them. Save and close the HomeStyles form. Display the HomeStyles form in Form view as shown in Figure 3 and then save and close the HomeStyles form.
