How to Install Garage Door Mount for Ring Contact Sensor
1. **Prepare the Surface: **

Clean the surface of your garage door where you intend to attach the Contact Sensor and mount.

2. **Insert Contact Sensor and Magnet: **

Remove the adhesive tape from the magnet and place it into the bottom slot on the mount. Press firmly to secure the bond.

3. **Insert Contact Sensor: **

Important*** Place the Contact Sensor in the top slot of the mount with the adhesive tape facing out. Press firmly for a snug fit.

4. **Place the Garage Door Mount: **

Remove the tape from the Contact Sensor to expose the adhesive. With the Garage Door Mount cover side facing outward, place the mount onto the garage door to bond the adhesive. Press the Contact Sensor firmly to ensure stability.

5. **Test the Security: **

Open and close the garage door to assess the connection between the Contact Sensor and magnet on the mount. Verify that the Ring system registers the correct status changes.
