Over the past year I have been on the come up of getting better and better and doing Maxmodes of harder difficulty. It started with beating every mainline Maxmode, then RACAC and PMAC, then HGF and PC, and so on. Considering the fact I started a lot later than most high level players in the community, I honestly never expected to verify any modes (Not any modes that would meet my quality standard and high difficulty). Even when starting FNATI BD, I didn't even think of verifying anything because of how old the game is. Especially with all the goats of this game there are.

After talking to Emperor Berzerk about it, this mode has been in the works of being verified for basically a year. The way I see it, I've just come out of nowhere and finished what everyone else started. Mainly Il Tizio with his 99% SSM run.

After I heard the world record power for SSM was 99% by Il Tizio, I knew I had to try. I had to try and verify something in my favourite game of all time, and my favourite mode of all time.

After I beat 100% power I knew I had to take it a step further, because I knew I could. My motivation was honestly really low, I only tried for maybe 2 days and got sick of the mode. It's honestly really frustrating to play. But after seeing Techy get 99% on PSSM, I knew I had to try again. I couldn't just let this important verification slip out of my hands. So the next morning I woke up and after a couple hours, I did it. It took a 100% power win with imp leaving cam 3 at 6:45 and a SSP win with 99% power, but it was done.

When I started this mode, I underrated it heavily. I heard people say it was probably harder than ESP, and I couldn't even see it harder than ESM! But after I started playing it, I could see where the difficulty came from. Keeping impurity happy while dealing with everyone AND power perfectly was near impossible and required some very tight timings.

This mode is truly a test of your speed, game knowledge, and consistency.

Even after I beat it I stuck to my opinion that ESM was harder and especially SSM 1.3.2 was harder. I think I thought this because they both took me way longer to beat. However that is likely because I currently have 35 wins on SSM. I have play current version way way way too much and beating this mode pretty much came natural to me.

Techy talked some sense into me after I shared this opinion and I now agree that this is probably harder than ESP and is projected to be top 3 on the main list.
