PurpleSchala and I went back and forth several times to figure out what we wanted the track order to be for the Women of the Crystal album. We eventually settled on this one for the opening track, and I think that's the perfect place for it! Tifa's theme is absolutely gorgeous, and I'm incredibly proud of our cover.
The only thing I have mixed feelings about, and I would love to hear what you all think, I'm not sure if the music Tifa's Theme really capture the essence of her character. It is gorgeous music, innocent and sweet. When I think of Tifa, however, I think of Tifa the fierce protector who goes toe to toe with Loz to defend Marlene, or the Tifa who goes after Sephiroth with a sword. My take, to capture a more complete sense of the character, we would have to somehow to a mashup to Tifa's Theme and Fight On! Next time. :D
