The Silicone Handle iPad Grip has two primary components - the two rigid grips that grasp and secure the iPad and the silicone elastic material that creates the compression that force the grips together. The rigid grips clamp onto the silicone at both ends and are locked together with 3 screws that are recessed so they can't touch the iPad. Within the rigid grips are an additional 4 anchors that further hold the silicone firmly in place.

The effectiveness and flexibility of the Silicone Handle is due to the design of the Silicone material. It is divided into three sections with the middle section acting as the grip you slide your hand through. But you can also slide your hand through any of the sections in any combination. Or you can grip all three sections with a closed fist. The use of Silicone with this hand-holding device increases it usefulness and versatility beyond any other iPad holder on the market today.

The Silicone material is milky white in color, is 0.0625" thick and can withstand heat temperatures up to 190° Celsius or 374° Fahrenheit. The silicone will not crack peel or tear unless a man-made event causes a cut in the material.

The rigid end grips match almost perfectly the silver color of the iPad's aluminum casing and are smooth and rounded in appearance matching the overall lines of the iPad. All ports, buttons and controls are available and none are covered up.
