The Notorious IBE is an international dance festival first organized in 1998. Between 1998 and 2005 the festival took place at the Nighttown Music Theatre in Rotterdam. In 2008 the festival moved to the city of Heerlen.

The IBE offers it’s visitors a unique blend of music, dance and cultural programs. Every year IBE presents 40 to 50 different programs from Friday to Sunday at various locations in the city center.

IBE also invites world renowned dancers, artists and special guests from the international Hip Hop and Urban dance scene. The IBE entrance ticket gives free access to all festival locations, called “Cyphers”. All workshops at IBE are free of charge.

IBE is widely known for presenting special dance programs like Seven2Smoke, the Momentum Generations Battle, the Focus on Footwork Battle, UK Champs Qualifiers and new programs like Break Down The House, Return of the BBoy and Robot Warz

The Notorious IBE 2014 edition takes place on 08-09-10 August in Heerlen, The Netherlands.
